These systems are used worldwide by the company for statistically measuring retail sales and competitive market shares, providing clients with valuable insights on the marketplace.
Responsibilities:
Analysis and design of Market Research software systems.
Support and maintenance of existing systems based on the needs of the company’s international branches (Visual Fox Pro based Systems).
Selected as a member of the I.T department’s leading project team that will drive the company’s existing systems to the new development platform of Visual Studio .Net 2005 / Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
In change of conducting introductory training sessions on C# Visual Studio .Net 2005.
Recent achievements:
Successfully implemented as member of a project team (period 2005-2006) the initial phase of the transition plan of the existing systems (Visual Fox Pro based systems) to the new development platform of C# Visual Studio .Net 2005 (GUI) / Microsoft SQL Server 2005; by delivering two major systems. The company invested in the design and implementation of the new platform’s systems that will gradually replace all existing ones. These systems have exceeded initial expectations set, both in performance (reduced process time up to 70%) and reliability (statistical information accuracy).
Solely credited for the analysis and implementation of a Job Scheduling algorithm called by multiple Window services of a Job Scheduling system.
