Job Description
On behalf of our client, a multinational and world leading supplier of their products and services we are seeking to recruit for a Sales Engineer.
As a sales engineer, you'll combine technical knowledge with sales skills.
Initially, you will be expected to gain experience in our client’s field, develop product/service knowledge, and eventually build your reputation in technical sales.
The job description involves and is not limited to the following:
• Provide advice and support on a range of products;
• Able to respond to functional and technical elements;
• Able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process;
• Key point of contact for clients and provide both pre- and after-sales advice;
• Liaise regularly with other members of the sales team;
• Searching for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximising client potential;
• Developing long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements;
• Persuading clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price, delivery and after service;
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in sales and knowledge of mechanical engineering. Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses customer queries. Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
Other Requirements:
Mechanical Engineering background with minimum 7 years of experience
A solid technical background
Sound judgment and good business sense
Team working ability
The ability to build relationships with clients quickly
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Resilience and tenacity
Independence
Fluent in Greek and English
A full driving license
