Job Description
On behalf of our client ,a limassol based forex company we are seeking to recruit : an adobe flex developer
Title: Senior PHP Developer:
Responsibilities:
1. To interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents.
2. To perform coding to written technical specifications.
3. To perform code maintenance and testing.
4. To fix application issues and code irregularities.
5. To give technical feedback to the Application Architect.
Correspond with and report to Application Architect.
6. Building and maintenance of core PHP based applications.
7. To develop web page infrastructure and application related to pages with more advanced graphics and features.
8. To design and develop relational database systems and their web interfaces.
9. Responsible for integrating MySQL database with the PHP applications.
Requirements:
1. 3-5 year experience developing with MVC frameworks using PHP
2. Solid knowledge of AJAX, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
3. Experience working with third-party APIs and web services.
4. Experience with developing reporting interfaces (charts, data grids, filters, exporting)
5. Experience of working with Relational Databases (MySQL, MSSQL) (queries, design and normalization)
6. Advanced OOP concepts, Design Patterns, Enterprise library and Software Engineering best practices.
7. Experience in both Linux and Windows environment development.
8. Knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS).
9. Knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation techniques preferred.
10. XHTML and/or HYML5 coding is highly desirable.
11. Financial application background is a plus (preferably FX).
12. A flexible attitude with proven experience of working in a small team.
13. Excellent communication skills and attention to details.
