Skills

·     Key skills I have attained from both my experience at University and in the workplace is the the ability to analyse, model and interpret data so as when looking at trends and patterns a methodical and logical approach can be assumed so as informed decisions can be made to help companies when predicting demand for services or goods.

I have strong problem solving skills which are essential to analyse market research and trends in consumer feedback and when interpreting opinion poll analysis which goes hand in hand with having a high level of accuracy and attention to detail which is pertinent when checking quality control standards in all areas.

I am integral team player as I aim to work collaborate closely with my colleagues and managers in supporting them in the delivery of the service to all customers and stakeholders and  be effective in participating in group meetings as I aspire to working and sharing ideas with others in order to get tasks and projects completed resulting in  the company's interests and objectives being achieved. I can provide and follow leadership directions and have managed challenging situations regarding discipline and behaviours. I have helped develop goals for the organisation and motivate others in the group and identify tasks needing completion by myself or delegate to appropriate personnel.

I am proficient in the use of all Microsoft packages covering Outlook Email, Word, powerpoint, Access and Excel.  I have excellent Communication skills - able to organise and present ideas effectively and clearly in both formal and informal ways (verbal and written form) and    listen carefully and respond to verbal and non-verbal messages.

A skill I have come to develop over time which is essential in any workplace and one I embrace using is adaptability. I think I excel in new and challenging situations. I’ve never been one to be daunted by an unexpected issue, because I find remaining calm helps you find better solutions. I enjoy getting to know new colleagues and settle into an organization’s methodology fairly quickly. No two jobs or tasks are ever the same, so I find it is best to always anticipate unforeseen problems. I’ve worked in fast paced positions before, so I’m confident in my ability to identify and solve problems under pressure.

I would consider myself to be a critical observer and able to manage and resolve conflicting situations. Both these skills respectively speaking are key in any organisation particularly at analysing and  interpreting data and  developing mutually beneficial relationships in a situation so you can influence and persuade people, whereby a settlement is negotiated creating a win-win solution that serve the best interests of the company and the individuals involved.
